2026 Hunan Food Safety Week Launches in Changsha

On Sept 24, the launch ceremony of 2026 Hunan Food Safety Week was held in Changsha, under the theme “Uphold Virtue and Law, Share Food Safety — Deepening Whole-Chain Supervision.” Vice Governor Jiang Difei attended and announced the official start of the event.

According to Foodmate News (domestic), the ceremony released the year’s typical enforcement cases from the major food safety inspection and rectification campaign, as well as the results of a food safety science short-video contest.
